The Kiwanis Club of South Central Indiana has again invited Hoosier Kitefliers Society members to fly our kites during the Kiwanis Indiana Balloon Fest at the Monroe County Fairgrounds, 5700 W. Airport Road in Bloomington. The dates this year are October 26-28. The Kiwanis club has not announced this year’s event schedule but in 2022, it began Thursday afternoon and ran all day Friday and Saturday. Festival organizers set aside an area for kite flying that’s apart from the balloon launch area. Contact Dick Claycomb for more information.
