We have received an invitation from White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis to participate in a kite flying community event that the park plans on Sunday, April 30 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The park’s community outreach and events coordinator, Cara Walsh, wrote that the park would love to have HKS members attend.
The event takes place in an area of the park called, “Celebration Plaza,” which is circled in red on the map below. Cara said that area almost always has wind because nearby buildings create a bit of a wind tunnel effect.
