Two organizations for military veterans have invited the Hoosier Kitefliers Society to participate in their “Patriot and Community Partner Social” Saturday, July 8, at Geist Park in Fortville. The event runs from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the organizers would like a “kite presence” from HKS.
Unfortunately, a satellite view of the park at 10979 Florida Road indicates little open space for kite flying.
