Hoosier Kiteflier’s Society

The Porter County Health Department will host its “Upwards Together Kite Festival” on September 5, 2026 in commemoration of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. This is not an official Hoosier Kitefliers Society event but we are sharing it here as a service to our members and others.

The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sunset Hill Farm County Park, 775 Meridian Road, Valparaiso. A Google map view of the park indicates that it has a fairly large, mowed field suitable for kite flying.
