Coxhall Gardens “Kite Festival”

Join the Coxhall Guild and the Hoosier Kitefliers Society for a kite festival and workshop. Whether you build a kite from scratch or bring your own, every age from toddler to grandparent, can share the joy of flying a kite! Colorful kites of all sizes and shapes flying high over the grounds of Coxhall Gardens will serve as a sure sign of spring. Working with members of the Hoosier Kitefliers Society, guild volunteers will help guests build a simple sled kite.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Kites are free while supplies last. We will also have concessions and vendor booths with items available for purchase. HKS members from around the region will also fly a wide variety of kites in a professional kite flying demonstration.
