The folks at Fair Oaks Farms has just added the following to their blog.  For full details, please click on this link: http://fofarms.com/blog/2015/02/unplug-reconnect-at-fair-in-the-air/

BlogFITA   Spring is coming. That means fresh air, warmer weather and flowers blooming at every corner. That means opening the windows for a sweet breeze and getting out of the house to spend time together. Put down your smartphones, step away from the computers and televisions and game systems and escape to the country to reconnect to one another. That’s the idea behind Fair in the Air.

This is shaping up to be a fun-filled, first-time event!  Saturday, May 9 from 10am until 4pm.

Kites 'N MPX mini-festival is "Airwaves" successor

The popular "Airwaves" kite festival at Voice of America Park north of Cincinnatti has returned ... sort of.

Butler County Metroparks has partnered with venerable Cincy-area kite club People Interested in Getting Stuff Aloft (PIGS Aloft) to create a new but smaller event this year, "Kites 'N MPX" (Kites and Metroparks).

It will be a one-day, five-hour event (April 11, 2015, noon to 5 p.m. ET) at the same park that hosted the now-defunct "Airwaves" festival for so many years.

Butler County Metroparks has created a PDF flyer for the event.
